Objective

Noodles Duel aims to enhance and maintain participants’ cardiovascular capacity and eye-hand coordination. This PE game goal is to win duels.

How the game is played

Each student should have a partner for this activity. Each person has their own noodle and takes a position facing their partner, their noodles touching end to end. When the game begins, one partner counts to three and says “go.” The goal is for each partner to hit their opponent’s shoe with their noodle. Once a shoe has been hit, participants must return to the starting position and start another round. When the number of rounds to be won is reached, participants must find a new opponent.

Adaptations/variations

Separate the winners of the rounds to compete against each other and do the same with the losers.

Specific safety rules

No student should hit another student above the belt with a noodle. If students are using the noodles in an unsafe manner or disobeying safety rules, please remove the equipment from those students’ hands to protect others.
